- Fry the meatballs in oil in a pan for 5-10 mins
- Put the meatballs into the tomato sauce, cover and bake at 200 (180 fan) for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 15 minutes. Optionally top with mozzarella at this point
Do not overbake them, or they will be dry. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick spray. Combine the meat, egg, breadcrumbs, cheese, salt, garlic, onion, black pepper and parsley in a bowl. Stir just until combined, do not over mix. Spray a large cookie sheet with cooking spray.
